About Myzaan
Myzaan is an independent product review and comparison site built specifically for Arab buyers - in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt, Kuwait, and across the GCC and wider Arab world.
What we do
We research, compare, and rank products based on real specifications, independent lab data, and Arab-market relevance. Every article answers the question Arab buyers actually ask: is this worth buying here, at this price, for my family and my conditions?
That means we test for the GCC climate, family-sized portions, desert dust and sand, Arabic app support, and whether the product is actually available and serviced locally - not just whether it reviews well in a European or American context.
How we rank
Every product is scored across five pillars:
- Performance (30%) - Does it do what it claims? Tested against real-world use, not just spec sheets.
- Value for Money (25%) - Is the price justified in the Arab market? We account for local pricing, not US or EU retail.
- Arab Fit (20%) - Does it suit Arab homes, climates, family sizes, and local availability? Arabic app support, heat tolerance, dust resistance.
- Build & Reliability (15%) - Will it last? Is the brand serviced locally? Are spare parts available?
- Experience (10%) - Setup, daily usability, app quality, how it actually feels to own.
Products are awarded a tier rating - from F (ما يستاهل) to S (يجنّن) - based on their combined score. The rarest rating, ✦ Al Asl (الأصل), is reserved for products that set the benchmark in their category. See our full Rating Methodology.
Our independence pledge
Myzaan is funded through affiliate links and advertising. When you buy a product through our links, we may earn a small commission - at no extra cost to you.
This never influences our rankings. A product cannot buy a higher tier. A brand cannot pay to be featured. Our rankings reflect our honest assessment only. If an affiliate product ranks lower than a non-affiliate one, we say so and explain why.
We disclose affiliate relationships clearly on every page.
What we cover
We currently publish reviews in two categories:
- Tech & Gadgets - earbuds, headphones, smartwatches, laptops, phones, power banks, speakers
- Home & Kitchen - air fryers, robot vacuums, coffee machines, cookware, home appliances
More categories are coming. We only publish when we have enough data to make an honest recommendation - not to fill pages.
Our standard
Every recommendation on this site passes one test: would we tell a family member to buy this? If the answer is no, it doesn't get an S tier. If the answer is "only if you have no other option," it gets a C. We write for real people making real purchasing decisions with real money.
